About CVT

CVT Market Access Solutions Ltd creates a fusion of Stuart Carroll’s two decades of experience across vaccines, infectious diseases, market access and public health policy, with Jonathan Van-Tam’s lifetime of medical and public health policy expertise. This creates a unique offering for clients, especially pharmaceutical companies seeking to navigate complex healthcare ecosystems and policy landscapes to secure sustainable access for innovative medicines and vaccines. The firm combines expertise in market access strategy, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), pricing and reimbursement, medical affairs, and government policy with deep experience in public health and health technology assessment.

CVT advisors work at the intersection of science, medicine, policy and healthcare systems, to provide strategic support and advice across the full product lifecycle, from early evidence generation and access strategy through to policy engagement, reimbursement negotiations and stakeholder communications.

How We Operate

01 |  Advisory firm, not agency

We are an advisory firm not an agency; our support to you comes in the form of written and spoken advice, alongside detailed review of your company’s propositions and strategies, as required.

02 |  Not a delivery partner

We are not a delivery partner who provides services, as agencies typically do.

03 |  Work alongside clients

We work alongside clients and inside their organisations, but we don’t ‘front’ outsourced activities on behalf of clients.

04 |  No junior staff delegation

We are currently a ‘two-person band’: we have no junior staff to whom we can delegate.

05 |  Direct access to the founders

Our clients get direct access to the two named experts who are the co-owners and founders of CVT.

06 |  Flexible work effort

Our clients ultimately choose the weighting of the ‘work effort’ they wish to receive from the two CVT advisors.

07 |  Selective assignments

We only accept assignments where we feel satisfied that: a) we can make a meaningful contribution; and b) the sum of our combined contributions is likely to be greater than its constituent separate parts

08 |  Honest, realistic advice

We are not ‘yes people’; we will always give honest and realistic advice to our clients, even when we think it may be hard to hear.

09 | Reputation and client satisfaction

We realise we are only as good as our current or recent reputation and obsess about feedback and client satisfaction.
